Since its introduction in 1957, the Sonicator, manufactured by Mettler Electronics Corp., has continued to serve the ultrasound therapy industry well. Although many more ultrasound machines have hit the market since then, the Sonicator continues to be the standard in therapeutic ultrasound equipment.

This portable version of the Sonicator is compact, lightweight and features the detachable applicator cables that all Sonictor units are known for. Additionally, it has a choice of continuous or pulse modes, and built-in cradles for the applicators. Like all Sonicator ultrasound equipment applicators, they feature a unique crystal-to-patient technology.

This innovative technology delivers ultrasound directly to the patient without the need for a metal interface. This technology also has a watertight characteristic that allows for underwater ultrasound therapy.
