The charging status of this battery pack can be seen on the ultrasound machine’s main panel. The battery pack will begin charging as soon as the line cord is installed into the wall. It will take up to four hours for the battery pack to reach a full charge. You can continue to check the status of the charge while you’re waiting. Additionally, the ultrasound machine may be used for treatments while the battery pack is in the charging mode.

In order to install the battery pack you’ll need to first remove the power cord.  After removing the back panel cover you just simply place the battery pack into the battery compartment. When you do this, be careful to not hit any of the buttons on the operator’s side of the ultrasound machine. The easiest way to avoid doing that is to install the battery pack while the unit is on its side.
