There are times when a portable ultrasound machine is the perfect fit for treatment. Whether it is location of the patient or the location in which the treatment needs to be administered, portability is very convenient.

The battery pack for the Intelect Transport Ultrasound Machine contains 20 Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) drycell batteries that are all encased into a one-piece unit with a strong outer wrap. The encasement is simply inserted in the back of the ultrasound machine.

The ultrasound machine is able to operate exclusively with the rechargeable power supply for approximately five hours of continuous use. Additionally, the battery pack is automatically charged through the ultrasound machine whenever the unit is connected to an external power source (mains power).
